Who we are
Atlas Blinds Ltd (company number 13866301) is an independent window-treatment supply and installation business serving Greater Manchester. For privacy enquiries, email mj@atlasblinds.co.uk or call 0161 605 2297.
Information we receive
When you use the booking flow or contact us, we may receive your name, telephone number, email address, postcode, address, chosen products, project notes, appointment time, marketing preference and communications. If you become a customer, we may also hold measurements, photographs, quotation, order, installation, warranty and payment records.
Booking references, address and calendar
The website stores an enquiry or booking record so that Atlas can issue a reference, prevent double booking and follow the project through to quotation. Postcodes.io checks the postcode and identifies the appropriate travel zone. If you use automatic address search, Ideal Postcodes returns matching property addresses; manual address entry remains available. When live calendar booking is enabled, Cal.com processes availability and sends the appointment confirmation, while Atlas’s connected calendar blocks times that are already occupied.
Campaign attribution
When present in the page address, we may store limited referral information such as UTM campaign fields or an advertising click identifier with the enquiry. This helps us understand which campaign produced a real lead. We do not use those fields to make automated decisions about the customer.
Why we use it
We use information to answer enquiries, plan routes, arrange appointments, prepare quotations, order agreed products, complete installations, handle payments and warranties, improve our customer-acquisition process, maintain business records and comply with legal obligations. Our usual lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, legal obligations and legitimate interests. Marketing updates are sent only where the optional consent has been selected or another lawful route applies.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary with selected hosting, database, postcode, calendar, email, supplier, fitter or professional service providers involved in running the website or fulfilling the agreed work, and with public authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information.
If you choose the WhatsApp link, the message opens on your device and you decide whether to send it. WhatsApp processes that communication under its own terms and privacy policy. A booking or enquiry reference may already have been stored by Atlas before you open WhatsApp.
Cookies and advertising measurement
This version does not intentionally place non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. Before adding Google or LinkedIn tags that require consent, Atlas will install an appropriate consent control and update this notice.
Retention and your rights
Unsuccessful enquiries are reviewed and normally removed when no longer useful. Customer, tax, order, warranty and dispute records may need to be kept longer. Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
